Mornings
Dawn, a new dawn
Always welcome after
The fears born at night
Why are fears so prominent at night
So felt with much fervour
It is hard to see them subsiding
Doubts are born at night
Insecurities abound

There it is again
The evening has arrived
Bringing with it all
Its insecurities and fears
I know they will disappear
As dawn kisses the/my earth
Introducing a day, as soft as new
As its sunbeams and crisp beautiful air
With all the possibilities life offers
“I can” I say
“I will” I conclude.
