I have always wondered where home is, throughout my life always feeling like I didn’t belong in a particular place. Having moved from Lebanon to continue growing in London and then to Canada because married life brought me here, where home is has always been a question on my mind. The question became more prevalent after my father passed away as one of the big anchors of my life disappeared. One day on the phone with a good friend, I was talking about feeling so out of touch and not really knowing where I belonged. My friend replied “Home is inside of us, we have to search for it there”. This is an ongoing series about home and the places that might speak home to us.
